THE VENUES LINDOW HALL
In 2008 events were held all weekend in the Lindow Hall, culminating on Sunday afternoon with talks given by acclaimed poet Jacob Polley and award winning novelist Sarah Hall. For Writ on the Wall 2010 the Lindow Hall will be transformed into a Food Village and will also host a Book Fair
The Lindow Hall will celebrate its Centenary in 2010. BOWNESS ON SOLWAY
SCHOOL The School will be the main hub for Writ on the Wall 2010 hosting a wide range of events and workshops. Included as part of the Festival will be the annual school play, along with presentation of prizes for the poetry competition. PEAR TREE FARM COTTAGE
Situated in the centre of the village, there will be live music throughout the weekend in the courtyard of Pear Tree Farm A bar will also be available |
