JIM ELDRIDGE
"Writing for a Living" Jim Eldridge has been a professional writer for nearly 40 years and a full-time writer since 1978. He has had 250 TV scripts broadcast in the UK and internationally, 250 Radio 4 scripts broadcast and 65 books published which have sold over 2 million copies. Originally a poet in the 1960s, since 1971 Jim has written comedy, drama, thrillers, sci-fi, historical fiction and non-fiction, and also many TV shows and books for children. In Writing for a Living he talks and answers questions about the practicalities of a writer's life; how to sell a script or book; writing for a variety of broadcasters, producers and publishers, and generally surviving in the writing business. |
